Different Hotel Cards
My invitations and Registry cards are different colors. Is that ok?
I ordered my invitations over a month ago and the company I went through was terrible. After 3 weeks, I finally got them and they looked awful. I had custom-made little cards myself that gave information on where to find our registry and hotel information (our wedding website) in a color to match the original invitations. I sent back the old invitations and bought new ones elsewhere that I am quite happy with. I sat down this morning to start stuffing the invites and realized that my new invitations are tiffany blue with brown swirls….and my information cards are royal blue with white swirls..I can’t take a picture, my fiance has my camera. They don’t match at all and I’m worried that maybe I should make new. My concern is that it will take at least 4 more days to make new and money is a little tight now anyway. I HAVE to have these invitations out by Friday. Any comments?
Since you don’t have the time or money to do it without loads of stress, just send them out as is. And don’t even mention to people that you made a mistake. Unless you mention it, they probably won’t even notice. I know that as the bride you’ll think it’s a huuuge deal and everyone will notice, but it’s really not so bad =] everyone will still love your big day!
