Class action lawsuit?? Is it legal for Blockbuster to charge your credit card for?
Is it legal for Blockbuster to charge your credit card for movies (the full price, as though you bought them) two days AFTER you returned the movies? How many people have they done this to? I keep calling customer service and they keep making “reports to corporate” and no one ever calls back. Is this class action worthy and how could this get started if it is?
call the STORE that charged you. explain what happened that you’ve already called corporate and demand that you get district manager’s #. They can charge you but since you say you returned them you should have been refunded you or given store credit (some stores only give store credit). Go in person into the store after calling and demand to talk to the manager and demand the refund. Since you’re right there in their face they have to resolve it. At our store we always refund it without question. Even if you kept the movies WAY late we do a one time forgive we think everyone should get a second chance and sometimes third, but that’s us not all blockbusters. If someone goes to corporate 1st we usually don’t hear about it ’til the customer is already frustrated and crazy mad when they could have just called us first and resolved everything over the phone. We know we hate being jerked around so we don’t like our customers to be either. Talk only to the store manager not anyone else cuz frankly I don’t trust that half the ppl in the store that you’re dealing w/ know what they’re doing. Sorry you’ve had a bad experience. One store full of idiots always ruins it for the rest of us.
