Starbucks Gift Cards

Is it appropriate to send a card and Starbucks Gift Card to your coworker in this situation?
I worked with her in the past and she was awesome, and then she recommended me for the job that i have now, and she trained me and helped me out A LOT this time around. but she’s quitting because she is going back to school. i was thinking of sending a card by mail to her home thanking her and also including a starbucks gift card since she has a starbucks obsession lol. do you think this is appropriate? and how much should the gift card be??

I think that would be very appropriate! You should include a thank you note too listing the reasons you have mentioned. As far as denomination, that is a tough call, especially since Starbuck’s is so expensive. I would say no less than 25 and no more than 50. Hope this helps you!
