Psyco is definately on the top 5 list of worst ever remakes!! I mean come on- you can’t make a Hitchcock film BETTER.
The best remake would hve to be Funny Games. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119167/
It is a great commentary on violence, and reality versus fantasy. Very unforgiving, dark, and twistedly ammusing.
The remake was done by the origional director only a few years after the origional release. It is the same frame for frame, simply with different actors.
